I can be called many things and now you can add “patron of the arts” to that list. After kicking myself for missing out on his portrait of Moe’s Tavern, last night I ordered Tim Doyle’s Armin Tamzarian, a picture of Springfield Elementary and Mr. Plow. It was a bit more than I would’ve liked to have paid, but it just goes to show you the psychological power of limited editions.
My journey to become the world’s foremost collector of Simpsons art has only just begun.
Doyle’s Unreal Estate series of pop culture landmarks is truly a wonderful thing, drawing from sources such as The Sopranos, Dr. Who, King of the Hill, and Sesame Street, among others. Check them out here.
